Birthday Blues: Discontinued

Thanks so much for all the kind words, everyone! You're all totally right... I'm not going to let my birthday be anything but awesome. All this gloomy talk is for the birds. I'm lucky, dammit! 32 feels great!

32 was good for me. ;) Enjoy those early 30s! They can be the most fun.

Happy Birthday!!!

Chris Allen

Glad to hear you are having (or have had) a wonderful birthday! And remember your age is only a number, not a definition of whom you are or who you should be.

“And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.” – Abraham Lincoln

Be happy and be well...

Matt

I'm glad your not beating yourself up anymore. I hope you enjoyed your birthday! (like your suppose to! =D ) I hope that every other one that comes will be even better then the last!

P.S. : Act all depressed and emo again...and I will hurt you. =P Remember Sarah Lane, you + depressed = Matt mad....or at least depressed too.

I had a tough time with the 29th birthday, knowing that was the end of the roaring '20s. By the 30th, I was fine. Now I am 33, and enjoying that I still have as much fun as the twenty-somethings. Have fun, and look forward to happy days! Now I look forward to being a jerk 90 year old, ticking people off in the Waffle House ;)

Jennifer

You rock, Sarah Lane! I remembered 2 things I left out of my earlier comment.

1. A quote from Kung Fu Panda that a good friend sent to me.:
"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present."

2. A movie I watched last weekend: Young @ Heart
Watch it and you won't feel old for a long long time - I smiled so much watching it, my face hurt afterward!

Happy Birthday!

steve

Sarah, Happy Birthday!

chris

I'm so happy you're not bummed anymore. I've been 32 for 14 days and I haven't even noticed yet!

Brent

I'll be 33 in December. Wanna trade?

Actually, I'm loving my 30's so far...20's were the years of experimentation and learning. Now I'm reaping the awards

Joey

Happy Birthday Sarah. I will be 33 Nov 13. I hate turning 32 also, but you will get use to it. :)

Cindy Sal

Remember when it is your birthday, its all about you so think of it that way!

jackie

Hope you had a great birthday. I'm like you, I always took my birthday too serious, to much examining myself instead of celebrating the wonderful life I have been given. This year, on 10-17 as a matter of fact, I'll be turning 37, BUT no self examinations for me this year..no this year I'm packing my bags and heading out west, to Colorado for 2 weeks, to travel around and take photos and have fun!!

Don't fret hon, 32 isn't too bad.. I'm turning 33 here on Saturday, Oct. 18th and still get blah around my b-days.. Btw, you don't look 32 at all.. You do look a lot younger.. Very nice Sarah!

Scott :)

Jill

Happy Belated Birthday Sarah! Go figure when I put my feed reader on hold for a week I miss a bunch of your posts ;)

Clintus

The best part is that you don't look 32... Happy belated.

I have to agree with and second Valerie. Your beauty is very alive and quite timeless, so don't you be frettin'.
