'Tis the Season To Be Phlegmy
Hi all. Sorry about the silence in 2008, though I kind of have an excuse. I've come down with a chest cold. I know, boo hoo.
But...
Have you ever had eye pain when you looked in any extreme direction? I've got that, and I've had it before. The first time was in high school, and two days later I came down with the chicken pox. IN HIGH SCHOOL. It was not pretty, people. The second time I developed a month-long bout of bronchitis. So you can imagine my hesitation to wake up tomorrow.
Thankfully, it's Friday night and I have nothing to do this weekend, California is experiencing its biggest storm in years so I'm expected to stay indoors, VH1 has decided to abandon all programming that isn't America's Next Top Model marathons (we're on Cycle 8), and the cats are being really cute. It could be worse.
Ugh, hope you feel better soon. I've had a cold/flu thing for 2 weeks now, getting much better though. I can feel your pain about the CPox. I had them when I was 18 and again(worse) when I was 22. Total not cool. This storm is pretty bad. Up to 70mph gusts around here with 40mph sustained winds. We had power outage for 15 hours. Oh well. Get plenty of rest and such.

Hope you feel better, Sarah. In a related note, my fiance (also coincidently named Sarah) has a similar eye issue. At first she thought it was a cyst, then she feared it may be pink eye. I think it turned out being neither, but she is on antibiotic called Bactrium (or something to that effect) now.
Fun fact: Dictionary.com says both "coincidently" and "coincidentally" are acceptable. Who knew?

I do hope you feel better. As for your cats being cute please do take some more pictures with your canon of the cats on macbook pro. The pic of your black cat on laptop (side profile of laptop, cat starring at viewer) is a great pic and has been my desktop wallpaper for over a month, thank you!

Aww Sarah! I hope you get better...and you know I'm curious do you watch Attack of the Show anymore? It's something a fan of that show since the Screen Savers has been wondering. You should make a guest appearance one of these days! Get well soon and drink some tea with honey!

Oh how I feel your pain...I'm guaranteed to get a bad bout of bronchitis at least once a year. Nothing really helps, chest colds are the worst. Albuetrol is the one saving grace.

Don't worry too much about the eye pain. I get that before every illness. Its actually served me well as a good early warning system. I've asked others about it and no one seems to know what i'm talking about. Just drink a gallon of orange juice and lay down.

Yo, Ms. Lane! As Perreira would say, I have had the worse cold/flu/chest deal for well over a week now, I feel your pain. Was that you off camera at the end of Tekzilla throwing down with Jessica? That was funny stuff, short, but funny. I say it way too much perhaps, but I'm so glad all my fave techtvites are somewhat back together again, I watch alll the podcasts I can through my appletv, it's awesome, even for an oldy moldy 43 yo.
Thanks for th great shows!

I got Chicken pot in my freshman yr of HS....and then I gave them to my mom who'd never had them. From head to toe I had them...even in my mouth. Horrible
Feel better soon!

I debated about whether or not I wanted to mention this but I used to get the eye thing going on too. Not necessarily before a cold just every once in a while for no particular reason. Turned out I had glaucoma. Don't freak out. I'm a one in a bajillion freak show on that end.

I had just left San Fransico when all that weather started to happen and made my way back to SC. But the four days I spent in San Fransico were great! I loved the cooler weather there and heard that it was cooler in the summer than the winter? Strange but anyway I must say the Argonut hotel there treated my mother and I great and the food was good at most places.
