Although I used to wear a tutu around the house when I was four
Dear Sarah Lane,
My name is Jolie and I am 6 years old. Are you the ballet dancer from the
Payless advertisement? If you are I would like to ask you some questions
about you.Thank you,
Jolie in Arizona
This is the best email I've gotten all year, and it's not even for me. I hope Jolie finds her ballerina.
I think that is the most adorable thing I have ever read.

Man if emails, news etc could be this positive. Sarah Lane you may not be a dancer but your beauty has been spinning me around for years.

What if the girl in the payless advertisement is a really bad dancer or is short and fugly, I don't think you would be saying this is the best e-mail then!
I know thats probably not the case, from what i can see your pretty hot but wouldn't that be a slap in the face.
Boy: Hey you look like that guy from oceans eleven!
Me: Really you think i look like Brad Pitt?
Kid: no the old man who fakes the stroke!
Me: Shut up kid what do you know
:)

Even though you are not in commercials, this little girl's question make me post this. There is an insurance commercial, I think State Farm, with a Black Woman talking to the screen, fairly attractive. I think she's your twin, other than the skin color. She has the same face structure as you.

Tutu be or not tutu be seems to be the question.

Saw a tv ad for a car and the girl playing the mother looked alot like Sarah

I was thinking the same thing.

Could be her mom or sister. someone along those lines typed it for her
I also know a few young one's who are pretty darn good on a computer

It indicates how much youngsters identify with their age. So many people asking you how old you are makes you think it's something darned important.

Dear Sarah,
I have a question for you too. Do you think it's wrong to put 2 year old boys in ballet class?
Thanks,
Megan in California
Posted by: Megan | Friday, June 08, 2007 at 09:14 PM
@Megan- Um, did you ever see "Billy Elliott"? Ballet class is the new soccer camp. Anybody who tells you differently is just living in the past.
Posted by: sarah | Friday, June 08, 2007 at 10:02 PM
2 years old in ballet lol, I guess its fine if you don't mind your boy growing up to be beat up and called a fag every day lol. geez good way to torture your young kids. not trying to sound bad but its just how it is in the real world.
Posted by: Dennis D | Saturday, June 09, 2007 at 01:09 PM
@Dennis- I know you're trying to be funny, but that word is offensive to a lot of people. Please don't use it here.
I don't think putting young kids in ballet class is necessarily torturing them. What if they love it? There are professional male ballet dancers all over the world. They had to start somewhere, didn't they?

Sarah, You should get in touch with Leo. He mentioned you would be a good replacement for Amber on Net@Nite and all the folks in the chat room thought you would be great! Take care.

Sorry about that , but in alot places it is what it is in the real world, Kids will get picked on, its a sad state but just how it is, of course if they love it go for it, but does a kid at 2 really know what they wanna do, or is it more of the parents wishing its what they wanted to do but never did. anyhow you should work with Leo again that would be awesome, sure miss those old shows.

Hey Eric I have a few friends who's kids from 5 to 8 years of age use a computer better then alot of adults I know lol. and of course everyone knows Sarah or knows of her.
Posted by: Dennis D | Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at 02:44 PM
Dennis,
No, of course a 2 year old kid doesn't know what they want to do with their life. By that logic activities such as little league, swim lessons and what have you.
It's WRONG for a kid to be insulted over doing what he or she loves to do, are you suggesting a little boy who enjoys ballet should be discouraged from following that path because some bass ackwards kids might not like it?
Posted by: Tom Piltoff | Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at 09:27 PM
TOM
No not at all, every kid should have fun doing what ever they like to do, and just Ignore the rude punks. but no matter how wrong it is, in this day and age it still happens, And thats what i dislike it needs to stop but I don't beleave it will any time soon. it seems to be getting worse instead of better for some reason.

I still have this image of Sarah, at 30, dancing around in a tutu. It's a good one.
Posted by: mike | Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at 05:15 AM
people. please. this is unbelievable.
I stopped reading sarah's blog when she went on her honeymoon... because really who cares? I came back to see if there was any new "technical" direction because that's what I remember of her. and there is not. so again... people... please.
sarah could post a picture of grass on this blog and get 30 comments about how beautiful the grass is and how it makes people think of her. this whole comment chain is sad and pathetic. lets be honest, everyone posting on here has stalker material written all over them. i am shocked sarah isn't at all worried about some of the "repeat" posters...
move on people. this blog is done. sarah's views on everything here are fairly unsubstantial and irrelevant.
Posted by: shocked | Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at 10:13 AM
Sarah how about banning the hater 'shocked'. He is probally just pissy because his parents want his 40 yearl old something butt out of the basement. Dude your a loser. Go back and play with your gi-joe and heman collection. Poor little person.

@ Shocked
No one is making you come here to see whats up, Don't like it don't stay and don't post your loser BS. Must be jealous she got married and it wasn't to you lol.

Come on friends, be nice to one another. Don't like it, don't hang out here. Real simple. And I'm sorry I haven't posted much in the last couple weeks. Hang in there, many more "unsubstantial and irrelevant" posts coming soon!

Bad news, Sarah.
Hollywood actor Johnny Depp has threatened to quit acting once he hits the ripe old age of 50.
