A Park Formerly Known for Amusement
Aww, I never thought an abandoned rollercoaster could look so sad. Something very haunting about the place, don't you think? Props to the photographer. More pics here.

Whoa. An abandoned amusement park? This place sure is creepy. Everything is rusted. The thing I think about when I see this is that it would make a great level in a video game.... [Read More]

Anyone know the story behind this place?

I second those props. Awesome pictures. The photographer, whoever s/he is, has a good eye.

Good luck finding a lawyer or a judge who would let you put it up for any use other than a mega-trellis.

What amazing photos. Those are really compelling for some reason. Can anyone say Silent Hill?

The fog gives it that eerie feeling. That photographer has a thing for old, abandoned, perhaps even dead things.

Sarah, you've managed to impress me yet again! Your eye for asthetic beauty is improving! Keep it up! Oh...about the rollercoaster, the fog gives it a creepy atmosphere. It's more like the rollercoaster from hell..

Did Kevin and Sarah split up?
Noticed that Sarah is not listed under "My Love" on Kevin's site...???

I can just picture all that stuff just starting to run on its own.

I saw these about a month ago on a warez site I frequent. Is that the same place you saw it Sarah? };-)

Wow, great pictures, Sarah.
I don't comment much, but this link took me back to the golden days of when we used to have a theme park in town. About 7 years ago, the park folded and a megamall was built in it's place. :'(
A loyal fan created a website based on one of the rides at that park a few years ago. Sadly, that site is no longer up.
If you're interested, I can try and dig up an old article about the park we used to have which also has pictures of it's own. I also took my own pictures of a lone ride that hasn't been used since 1997. When they built the mall, the ride was waaaay off in the back corner of the parking lot, that they just decided to leave it there.

I think that it shows that the Japanese still hold true to their past with really liking things that are old. Beauty can be captured anywhere, and I really like that.

Found great pics of Sarah...
Posted by: Bob | Wednesday, May 04, 2005 at 08:31 PM
Well, I guess there was lot of strain on the relationship, ever since last fall. It didn't help matters when they switched up the format. Anyway, their reasons for breaking up are personal, so let's not inquire beyond that.

Sarah, how long ago did you and Kevin breakup? You two seemed great together.

That is kind of private information... as in, their business.

Well Kevin is not playing fair. He put a little black book on his moblog. Looks like Kevin is showing his feeling in a public way...
Posted by: Bill | Thursday, May 12, 2005 at 05:18 AM
I didn't know any of that. You can just tell the way they act around each other on the show. And then none of them have pictures of one another on their sites recently.
