Wow that is a very cool place.I'm glad that you finally got to go there.

Was it just cool architecture or was there some spiritual feelings involved?

I'm glad you had a tiring but all around good time at Angkor. It's the crown beauty of the Khmer Empire. I guess I will finally have the chance to go visit it in a couple of months. My first visit back to the mother land should be a good one.

Oh yeah, they only charge tourists a fee. Any Khmer national or of Khmer decent is waived that fee. So I guess that gives me an excuse to spend a couple of days there.

Take it all in!

I remember 45's and LPs (78s?)! I miss the GREAT cover art - not the same on CDs!

Cambodia was FASCINATING through your lenses! I always equated it with "The Killing Fields", Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge but there is some deep spirituality and a great deal of natural beauty in the pictures that you took!

Thanks For Sharing This Trip With ALL Of Us! :)

This doesn't pertain to anything specifically. I was checking out the photos and I thought I would post a comment. Sarah, I really like the hair color. I assume that is pretty close to your natural color. Brendan, you're starting to look old dude. :) It's that facial hair that's doing it. I'm just messing with you though. I've got the same thing going on. I hope all is well with you both. Good luck and stay safe.

Wow, another awesome update! Thanks so much for those pictures, Sarah. I had never heard of Angkor Wat before reading your post. It's like nothing I've ever seen before. Simply awe inspiring.

Hey I really enjoyed your podcasts & the blog entries. Did you get those nachos at the Foreign Correspondance Club? That is where I got mine when I was in Cambodia and I was HAPPY too! I also didn't manage to kill myself on those stairs. Man those were steep but you are right the view was worth it. Thanks for sharing! Loved it!

Oh and I forgot to mention - that yes - I had temple burnout as well when at Angkor. They are amazing but I ditched one day and sat around the hotel room watching CNN. I regret it now but I was just so burned out and THERE are NO BATHROOMS anywhere in the temple complex.
